He has won a Goh Sin Tub Creative Writing prize as well as the Illumination, ELit and Catholic Media Book Awards. He has been invited to read poetry or commentaries at Baylor, Melbourne and Oxford Universities. He is a director of Poetry Festival (Singapore).

She is currently a third-year student at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, studying International Studies.
