She recently published a poetry chapbook in English: Kathmandu (Unsolicited Press, 2020). Her poetry chapbook fable-weavers is forthcoming from ethel-zine in fall of 2022. An associate editor for Up the Staircase Quarterly, her poems and essays have been nominated for Best of the Net and Pushcart prizes. She works as a senior publisher in an online testing company. She enjoys teaching poetry to children in summer camps. Her work found home in print and online journals and anthologies in Nepal, India, Bangladesh, the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Scotland, and Australia. She is internationally recognized for her scholarship on sustainability, with honors that include the 2009 Cozzarelli Prize from the US National Academy of Sciences, the 2013 Elinor Ostrom Senior Scholar award, and the 2017 Clarivate Web of Science award for interdisciplinary research in India.
