Born and brought up in a village near Udumalpet, Tiruppur district. Studied D pharm. Learning English made her switch over to languages and literature after marriage. Studied MA, Mphil in French in 2010. Worked in Stella Maris college from 2011 to 2018 as Assistant professor of French. Quit the job to start Zero Degree Publishing with Mr. Ramjee Narasiman. Translated Sudha Murthy's book Here There and Everywhere into Tamil. Translated Anne Hebert's 2 stories from French to Tamil which were published in Vikatan's Thadam and Yaavarum.com.
